武術」 (Wushu)

運用拳腳的運動,著重全身肌肉、筋骨、關節均衡的活動和練習,並不是重複的只去練某些肌肉或關節使其勞損。武術班學員除了練習拳腳功夫、強身健體、增強自信、團結精神及訓練領袖才能之外,還學習孝順父母、尊敬師長、仁義誠信及以禮待人等品德教育。磨練出隨機應變的思維和百折不撓的堅毅精神。練武不但能自衛強身、養精蓄銳,受過武術訓練的人,身手反應敏捷,危機意識偏高,且處事不驚,是一種相當有用的基本防身技能。

Focused on developing the entire body, including the joints and muscles.   Besides the physical health benefits, Chinese Martial Arts offers many mental and emotional benefits.  Experience in the arts leads to enhanced reflexes as well as the ability to react in difficult situations that require self-defense.  It can tone the mind to have stronger instincts and more controlled panic during emergencies.  For children, martial arts teach discipline, increased concentration, confidence, politeness, love, compassion, peace and honesty.  A child learns humility when he/she fails as well as acquiring the endurance to lift his/herself back up after a defeat.  Most importantly, a child is taught to respect and to give respect where it is due - parents, relatives, friends, and even enemies.  Despite martial arts being a fighting sport, a child is taught to honor life - that the techniques they are learning are not to be used to harm others and only to be used in self-defense.  These are important life lessons that are often neglected throughout elementary and high school that every child should learn in order to live a healthy childhood.

導師 (Teacher):               曾智勇  Pablo Tseng

曾智勇老師自幼在温哥华習武, 師承洪拳李文发師傅; 和旅居温哥华的少林武僧釋行武師傅。 曾老師武功高強, 謙通南北少林拳術, 系東流空手道, 陳式太極拳, 十二路潭腿, 虎鶴雙形拳及其他拳法。曾多次在大型武术竞技比赛中获奖。

課程 (Program):             2:00 - 2:20: 基本功夫

                                       2:20 - 3:00: (上学期).....洪拳; 单弓伏虎拳; (下学期).....北少林拳; 功夫拳

服装(Costume):              所有表演的 武术服装;和刀枪剑棍由大都学院 免费借出. 学员无需花钱购买.

                                       Daido Academy provide all performances costume free of charge.

           Andy Wang 老师師承《武壇武馆》的 John Hum 師傅, 跟隨 John Hum師傅 9 , 習螳螂拳和洪拳.

           Andy 老师武术造诣高深, 还喜欢教导小孩, 和蔼有耐心。

課程(Program):              1:00 - 1:20: 基本功夫

                                       1:20 - 2:00: 螳螂拳; 洪拳

服装(Costume):              所有表演的 武术服装;和刀枪剑棍由大都学院 免费借出. 学员无需花钱购买.

「舞蹈」 (Dance)

大都学院提供以下舞蹈課程:

女子形体健身舞班, 周二晚 700 - 830PM 地点: Walter Baker Sports Centre , Food Court (图书馆对面小礼堂)

1.     幼儿舞蹈启蒙班 (适合3.5 – 5 岁儿童) , 周日 200-245PM, Room 202

课程为45 分钟。通过幼儿启蒙舞蹈基本动作训练,儿歌,音乐节拍训练 来开发幼儿对舞蹈的兴趣和节奏感。为学习儿童舞蹈打好基础。学生也有机会学习成品幼儿舞蹈及儿歌表演。

2.    儿童舞蹈班:(适合6岁-8岁儿童), 周日 100-200PM, Room 205

课程为一小时。 通过规范的儿童舞蹈基本功训练和学习儿童成品舞来进一步培养学生对舞蹈的兴趣, 节奏感和舞台表演能力。

3.    少儿舞蹈班:(适合9岁-12岁), 周日200-300PM, Room 205

课程为一小时。 通过规范的少儿舞蹈基本功训练及少儿形体训练,来培养少儿的气质, 体态。  学习各类少儿成品舞蹈,民族舞蹈,增强舞台表演能力,提高自信心。

4.    青少年舞蹈班:(适合13-20岁), 周日300-500PM, Room 202

课程为两小时。强化性的舞蹈基本功训练和形体训练。 学习各类民族舞, 如傣族,藏族,蒙古族,彝族,维吾尔族等舞蹈,也有中国古典舞,汉民族舞,现代舞.

5.    成人舞蹈班:周日300-500PM, Room 205

课程为两小时。来上课的队员有机会接触各种风格的成品舞蹈, 如民族舞,古典舞,现代舞 ,也有形体训练, 身韵组合,舞蹈基训,舞台表演技巧等。欢迎对舞蹈有兴趣的成人参加。

6 .    女子形体健身舞班:

课程为一个半小时。健身舞班的宗旨是娱乐健身,为大家在忙碌的一天后,提供一个放松,娱乐的机会,并达到健身的目的。活动的内容有女子形体基训,和结合民族舞,现代舞和肚皮舞的混搭健身肚皮舞,印度舞和健身民族舞。

Children’s Dance Class:

Children’s dance classes consist of fundamental dance movement training and techniques, also training on proper posture, stage presentation and Chinese music appreciation. Various styles of Chinese dances will be introduced to students gradually so that students will have the opportunity to learn the diverse characteristics of traditional Chinese dances, as well as how to use dance props, such as fans, ribbons, handkerchiefs, umbrellas, etc.

We offer three children’s dance classes for different age groups:

Children Dance I  (Age: 3.5-5 )

Children Dance II (Age: 6-8)

Children Dance III (Age:9-12)

Youth Cultural Dance (Age: 13-20)

Our youth cultural dance is for young people who want to learn Chinese dance. The class consists of formal Chinese dance movement and technique training, as well as learning a rich and diverse repertoire of Chinese dances: folk, minority nationality, classical, contemporary dances.

Adult Cultural Dance 

Our adult cultural dance class is for adults who are interested in Chinese dancing. The class offers dance technique training, as well as a repertoire of various styles of Chinese folk dancing, minority nationality dancing, and Chinese contemporary and classical dancing, some dancing experience is preferred.

Fitness Dance Class (Age:18+)

Our fitness dance class is catered to those who like to keep fit by means of dancing. The class consists of warm-up and stretch exercises, as well as dancing for fun, doing various style of dancing, such as belly dancing, Chinese folk dancing and Chinese minority nationality dancing. No previous dancing experience is required.

太極」 (Taichi)

太極動作柔和,緩慢均勻,圓活連貫,輕靈鬆靜,故能老少咸宜,男女合適。初學能舒筋活絡,使腰腿靈活,精神充沛。進而卻病延年,強身健體,亦能使思想敏捷,間接幫助提升辦事效率。太極最精粹之處:能禦敵自衛,力博千斤,為最多人喜愛練習的拳術。練太極又可以獲得擴闊社交層面、推廣身心平衡和提高個人生活質素等益處。

An ancient Chinese tradition and practice that many would consider to be a “treasure”.  Tai-Chi can boost your physical strength and energy as well as improve endurance, and even your life expectancy.  Because Tai-Chi exercises both body and mind, it also can improve your immune system.  With a continual exercise program, it can ward off or even mend physical ailments such as fatigue, arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, insomnia, stress attacks and anxiety.  Since Tai-Chi can prevent illness if none is present and heal illnesses that are present, it is indeed a healthy sport that also improves your health.

Beginners will quickly notice increased joint flexibility, especially in the hips, arms and legs and a boost in physical energy.  Intermediate students will notice a reduction in physical ailments, increased endurance and a stronger thinking ability – which all indirectly affects one's career or school performance.  Advanced students will notice all the benefits of beginners and intermediates with one additional benefit – self defense.  Tai-Chi uses techniques that redirect energy flow that once mastered, allows a person to take on even the strongest of opponents.

太極班由袁德安老師主持。袁老師自幼愛好武術,先後從師彭漢壔老師學習陳氏太極拳﹔朱漢文老師學習傳統楊氏太極拳和少林拳術﹔李亦鵬老師(已故太極大師陳照奎弟子)學習陳氏一路、二路太極拳和陳氏太極劍﹔傅鐘文老師(楊澄甫弟子,第四代傳人)學習傳統楊氏太極拳、太極劍和太極刀(1988年收為入室弟子)﹔孫劍雲老師(孫氏太極宗師孫祿堂之女,第二代掌門人,中國當代十大武術名師之一)學習孫氏太極拳及形意、八卦拳劍(1996年收為入室弟子)。

 袁老師除了熱愛太極拳運動外,更積極參與發揚太極拳活動。她曾擔任過國家級武術裁判﹔90年在北京舉辨的十一屆亞運開幕禮中參加表演太極拳﹔又曾任過中國永年國際太極拳聯誼會副理事長,被評為太極大師。多年來邊學習邊業餘從事教練活動,培養的學生中也曾在中國及北京市太極拳比賽中得過太極拳、劍的冠軍。

 

袁老師是本埠有名的老師,是本埠很多太極師傅的師傅。
